Our tutors go through a rigorous selection process at the interview stage. In addition to pedagogical competencies and familiarity with the MOE syllabus, tutors are evaluated on their keenness to genuinely care for, and guide students in a manner that considers their overall well-being. This is a critical requirement for any successful application.
From curriculum design to classroom facilitation, every aspect of the eduSpace experience is guided by the following principles:
Interestingly enough, many academic challenges students face are rooted in certain negative experiences or emotions associated with a subject. Students lose interest or start to ‘fear’ a subject because they cannot grasp certain concepts or topics, no matter how hard they try
Our tutors actively build positive relationships with our students. This allows students to see them as a mentor who genuinely wants to support and care for their well-being. Once students understand that classes at eduSpace are not “torture” them with more dreaded assignments, they will in turn adopt a greater openness towards learning. They would start asking questions, and even attempt challenging questions that they would not have tried previously.
